Wednesday, September 20, 2023 6:35AM CDT Most fertilizer prices are lower compared to last month, with one exception: The average retail price of anhydrous is 11% higher than it was last month with an average price of $696 per ton. Only three fertilizers (potash, 10-34-0, DAP) had significant price declines, while prices for the remaining four fertilizers (MAP, urea, UAN28, UAN32) were slightly lower compared to last month.

December corn was down 2 cents, November soybeans were down 13 cents and December KC wheat was down 3 1/2 cents.
Traders were impatient Wednesday and did not want to wait around for cash sales to buy into the market. Buying pushed futures higher in the anticipation of at least $1.00 higher cash. Hog futures broke through price resistance as packers became more aggressive Wednesday.
